At the independent professional wrestling pay-per-view ALL IN, Arrow star Stephen Amell wrestled in his first televised singles match against indie wrestling icon Christopher Daniels. Despite the twelve-minute bout ultimately resulting in Daniels going over, Amell gave an admirable performance that earned him the respect of the audience.
Countless fans praised Amell on social media for how well he was able to hold his own in his first-ever singles match. Additionally, he was met with a positive response from the live crowd, receiving a particularly thunderous ovation upon successfully hitting Daniels with a Coast to Coast wrestling move.

ALL IN was promoted by pro wrestler Cody Rhodes and tag team The Young Bucks. This is worth mentioning because it isn’t Stephen Amell’s first time working with Cody Rhodes, nor is it his first time surprising onlookers with his pro wrestling skills.
Amell made a series of guest appearances for WWE in 2015, which culminated in him teaming up with Neville to defeat Rhodes (as Stardust) and King Barrett in a tag team match at that year’s SummerSlam event, reportedly impressing the other wrestlers with his in-ring capability. Later on, Rhodes (under his legal name of Cody Runnels) appeared in a pair of episodes in Season 5 of Arrow as the character Derek Sampson.
Cody Rhodes left WWE shortly thereafter to pursue a career on the independent scene, joining the likes of The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega as a member of the notorious Bullet Club faction. In late 2017, Amell made his Ring of Honor debut, becoming an honorary member of the Bullet Club to wrestle in yet another tag team contest.

Amell finally got his chance at a one-on-one contest against Daniels at ALL IN which, as we’ve seen, went rather well for him, in spite of the loss. Amell was also sure to give a wink and a nod to fans of Arrow through his entrance attire at the PPV, sporting a leather vest with a custom version of the Bullet Club logo that read “Vigilante Club” and featured a Green Arrow-esque eye mask.
