Arrowverse: Arkham Asylum Photo Reveals Special Crossover Easter Egg

Arkham Asylum is set to appear in “Elseworlds,” the upcoming Arrowverse crossover, and a new image reveals a look at one of the Easter eggs that will appear in that notorious asylum

The picture, which comes from Marc Guggenheim’s Twitter, provides a look at one of Arkham Asylum’s cell doors. The name on the door reads “Guggenheim, M.,” an obvious reference to the poster himself. The door’s number is 345. Guggenheim goes on to remark that he’s “encouraged a lot of Easter Eggs in this year’s crossover, but this might be going too far.”

Guggenheim has been one of the major creative forces behind the Arrowverse. Alongside Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, Guggenheim helped develop Arrow, which served as the first series in the Arrowverse. Outside of his work for The CW, Guggenheim has worked on such series as Trollhunters, Eli Stone and Green Lantern.

Although many details about the upcoming crossover are unknown, a number of actors are set to make their Arrowverse debuts, including Ruby Rose as Batwoman/Kate Kane, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane and LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor. The event will also see the return of Tyler Hoechlin as Superman.
