Netflix cancelled Luke Cage on Friday, with creative differences reportedly being the reason for the choice. The streaming service cancelled Luke Cage just a week after cancelling fellow superhero series Iron Fist. Although a report later surfaced indicating Danny Rand/IronFist would return in some way in the future, it’s unclear whether Luke Cage will reappear. Some fans have speculated that the cancellation of the two shows indicates Marvel and Netflix are intending to go forward with a Heroes for Hire series.
