CBS All Access’ Why Women Kill adds Alexandra Daddario
Deadline reports that Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas) has been cast as a series regular for the role of Jade in Marc Cherry’s upcoming dark comedy drama series Why Women Kill for CBS All Access. Daddario’s Jade will be one of the characters in 2018. She is described as the beautiful and sweet lesbian lover of Taylor.
Her character description reads: “Jade is extremely grateful to Taylor and Eli (Reid Scott) for letting her stay with them after being stalked by a dangerous ex. A neat freak who cleans compulsively, she impresses Eli who is thrilled to have his slacks and shirts ironed and the house kept in immaculate order. But neither Taylor nor Eli suspect that Jade may be a little crazy.”
Daddario is best known for portraying the role of Annabeth Chase in the film adaptations of Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson starring alongside Logan Lerman and Brandon T. Jackson. Her other notable film credits include: the 2017 Baywatch opposite Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson; the disaster film San Andreas; Hall Pass; Texas Chainsaw 3D; and in Netflix’s rom-com When We First Met.
She has also appeared in a number of guest-starring roles in TV shows such as White Collar, Parenthood, True Detective, New Girl, and American Horror Story: Hotel.
