CBS renews Young Sheldon for 2 additional seasons
Even though The Big Bang Theory will have its final curtain call after this season, its prequel/spinoff Young Sheldon isn’t going anywhere for the next couple years. According to The Wrap, CBS has renewed the sitcom for two more seasons, carrying it through until 2021.
“Thanks to Chuck Lorre’s and Steve Molaro’s outstanding creative leadership, Young Sheldon has been a powerful performer for the Network with an audience that towers over most of the television landscape,” said CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl.
