Charmed Season 1 Episode 16 Recap
In the previous episode of The CW’s Charmed, Macy’s Evil Sight power allowed her to see that Charity killed Marisol, and Charity killed Elder Bari. In Charmed season 1 episode 16, she tried suppressing Macy’s memory.
Blackout
Charity woke Macy, who overslept. Macy didn’t remember what happened the night before, but she had burns on her arm. The memory lapses scared Macy since she believed her demonic side was overtaking her.
Macy desperately wanted to see Elder Bari and get the test results back. Charity assured Macy things would be okay and gave Macy the compass that summons her.
The Truth
After Charity had to wipe Macy’s memory again, she asked Harry to heal Macy’s burns. Charity charged Harry with investigating what happened to Elder Bari. He discovered that Priyanka had met with Macy. Macy remembered being in the attic and realized she’d held her arm over lit candles on purpose. She found Priyanka’s hair stick and used it. She saw that Charity killed Marisol.
Unfortunately, the compass Charity gave Macy wasn’t for summoning her; it was a surveillance device. Charity took Macy down to the Vortex Viribus. When Mel and Maggie realized Charity’s suspicious behavior, they looked for Macy and found Charity about to attack Macy. She hit Harry with an energy whip, but the Charmed Ones were able to bind her powers.
Bellinis
Julia told Parker that his demon DNA was stabilizing; the serum was working. Parker and Maggie went out to celebrate, and Lucy crashed their date. She got them bellinis and spiked one with a potion. The toast was a spell, and Parker came down with a demonic disease. Alistair had done it to him before to make Parker dependent on him. Maggie resolved to help him beat it without Alistair’s help. Parker knew Alistair was planning something.
At the end of the episode, Alistair rescued Charity as she was being sent to Tartarus.
Fiona
Mel and Maggie told Macy that Fiona was alive. Macy wanted to tell Charity and Harry, but ultimately, Mel and Maggie convinced her it wasn’t their secret to tell.
While Charity was bound, Fiona arrived to see her, to Harry’s shock. Fiona declared that the Vortex Viribus was for her and her powers.
