The Thirteenth Doctor is making sure to leave her mark at Comic-Con International in San Diego.
Fresh off her Hall H debut for the Doctor Who panel, new series star Jodie Whittaker made a surprise appearance at the Her Universe Fashion Show on Thursday night.

Whittaker walked the runway in the new Doctor’s signature trench coat, posing with her newly redesigned sonic screwdriver to rousing applause. She turned and walked back, arms in the air, as if to welcome the audience into her world.

Buzz has already begun swirling around the new season of the beloved British sci-fi show, and curious fans have been looking for more peeks at the new Doctor. Between Whittaker’s appearance at this event, and the Doctor Who panel earlier in the day — complete with co-stars and a new trailer — the excitement is sure to continue growing before the season premieres.

The Her Universe Fashion Show, held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, sees hundreds of submissions from designers hoping to compete in this “geek couture” event, with the opportunity to design a collection with the company’s founder for Hot Topic.
The highly anticipated Season 11 of Doctor Who will premiere this fall on BBC and BBC America, but an exact date has not been announced.
