San Diego Comic-Con attendees will have the chance to get an exclusive Halloween poster showcasing slasher Michael Myers in all his bloody glory. San Diego Comic-Con has become a must-attend event among pop culture enthusiasts and studios and networks have been seizing this space to share news and other surprises about their upcoming projects.

In addition to that, attendees can get their hands on some goodies that range from comic book previews to exclusive posters of some of their favorite TV shows and films. One of the most anticipated panels this year is that of Universal Pictures, presenting Glass and Halloween at Hall H this Friday. To celebrate the upcoming release of the new Halloween film and in preparation for the panel, an exclusive poster has now been revealed.

The official Twitter for David Gordon Green’s Halloween shared their exclusive SDCC poster made by artist Bill Sienkiewicz, who has worked on various DC and Marvel comics, most notably The New Mutants and Elektra: Assassin. While exclusive posters are usually handed out at the studios’ booths or attendees of the panel are given a ticket to exchange for said poster at the end of the panel, no further information on how to get the poster was revealed - but they did suggest to turn on Twitter notifications for the official Halloween account.

Halloween marks the long-awaited return of Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and slasher Michael Myers, in a film that completely ignores all sequels and prequels that came after the original film back in 1978. Essentially, this new film would be Halloween II, meaning that Michael and Laurie are not related in this story, treating that twist instead as a myth that originated after Michael’s killing spree. Joining Laurie and Michael in this new story are Karen (Judy Greer) and Allyson (Andi Marichak), Laurie’s daughter and granddaughter, respectively.

Earlier this month, Curtis confirmed she will attend the panel, and even though she didn’t share more details, it’s fair to assume that director Green will be in attendance - and hopefully both Michael Myers actors as well: Nick Castle and Jude Courtney. There’s no word on what Universal and Blumhouse will share at the panel, but fans are expecting either a second trailer or a clip from the film.

While Friday is usually not a busy day at Hall H, Universal’s presence with two of the most anticipated films of the genre will surely gather a big audience. Hopefully, those attending the convention and not making it to the panel will get their hands on that poster - and for those far from the Con, let’s hope the studio shares whatever they bring to the panel with the rest of the world.
