More superheroes, more problems! When Luke Cage‘s Misty Knight heads downtown to help out her friends Danny Rand and Colleen Wing in Iron Fist Season 2, she’ll encounter “a whole other set of issues” than she’s used to. At Comic-Con International in San Diego, Misty actor Simone Missick teased what brings her to Danny and Colleen’s neck of the woods and why the new setting presents a different set of challenges.
“I think that, going into Iron Fist Season 2, Misty is fully invested in who she is now. There’s something that happens that brings her downtown to check on Colleen and Danny and that’s where the journey starts. So you get to see Misty outside of Harlem, outside of uptown and it’s a different jurisdiction, so it’s a different set of problems.”

“It’s a different set of superpowered people that she has to deal with, and that’s exciting!” she continued. “I mean, it’s all about the devil you know, and I think in Harlem she knows Luke, she knows Bushmaster, she knows Mariah and these are people that she has to deal with on a certain level and then she comes downtown and it’s a whole other set of issues. It’s fun.”
Arriving Sept. 7 on Netflix, Marvel’s Iron Fist Season 2 stars Finn Jones as Danny Rand, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Sacha Dhawan as Davos, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, Simone Missick Misty Knight and introduces Alice Eve as Mary Walker.
