The Flash: Another Good Look at Nora West-Allen’s Costume

The Flash: Another Good Look at Nora West-Allen’s Costume

There’s a new speedster in Central City and she has some very personal ties to Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen.

As revealed this past May in the Season 4 finale of The Flash, the titular DC superhero’s daughter Nora has time-traveled back from the future only to become trapped. A trailer for the upcoming fifth season of The CW series shown at Comic-Con International in San Diego last month briefly showed Nora in action as the speedster XS but a new photo from the Vancouver set has provided a better look at the new superhero costume.

Tweeted by entertainment news site Hollywood North, the photo of a stunt double wearing the costume bears striking similarity to the uniform Nora’s mother, Iris, wore in Season 4 when she temporarily gained The Flash’s powers. Both costumes had the familiar white and purple color scheme from the comic book source material though XS’ outfit has a smaller version of the familiar logo the character wore while serving as a member of the Legion of Superheroes.

Judging by recently released titles for the first group of episodes from the fifth season, it looks like Nora will be taking center stage in this October’s season premiere. Not to be outdone, her father Barry will be sporting his own new costume that appears more faithful to his look in the comic books than previous uniforms. In less than two months, fans can see father and daughter teaming up in their new costumes to save the day.
