The Jordan Peele-helmed Twilight Zone revival has officially begun production.
CBS All Access made the announcement public with a video teaser. The short trailer runs through a quick highlight reel of some of the most iconic episodes of the landmark sci-fi/horror television series, flashing scenes from “Time Enough At Last,” “The Eye Of The Beholder” and others, all while Rod Serling’s quietly sinister introduction plays.
The video then shifts into a modern-looking rendition of the classic intro sequence, with Peele now providing the narration. The teaser ends with a clip of the first day of shooting on the series.

Peele, who rose to prominence as one half of the comedy duo Key & Peele, won the Academy Award for Original Screenplay last year for his horror film, Get Out. The movie, also directed by Peele, was one of the most critically lauded horror films of the last 10 years. Peele has been linked to a number of projects since, although one of the most exciting will be to see him take on the ground-breaking anthology series.
The Twilight Zone is slated to premiere in 2019 on CBS All Access, 60 years after the premiere of the original series on CBS.
