With the character only briefly seen in silhouette or out of focus in flashbacks, speculation has mounted as to who portrays Bruce Wayne on DC Universe’s Titans. And with the latest round of casting rumors debunked, it appears the mystery of who portrays the premium streaming service’s Caped Crusader continues.
Rumors had arisen over the weekend that Lewis Tan, who previously appeared in this year’s Deadpool 2 as Shatterstar and as Zhou Chen on the first season of Netflix’s Iron Fist, was portraying the series’ incarnation of the Dark Knight. This rumor was compounded by Tan meeting with DC Entertainment in apparent preparation for a role on DC Universe this past June, holding a stack of Batman comics presumably for research.

Despite this alleged evidence, the rumor of Tan portraying Titans’ Batman has been refuted by Umberto Gonzalez, reporter for entertainment news site The Wrap.
No, Lewis Tan is NOT playing Bruce Wayne in TITANS.

With Tan evidently not portraying Bruce Wayne on the series, that leaves two major questions: Who is playing Batman on the inaugural DC Universe original series and what role did Tan meet with DC Entertainment for exactly this past summer?
