Veep final season trailer promises the usual profane political humor
The Emmy-winning comedy series Veep concluded its ten-episode sixth season on Sunday, June 25, 2017. Now, almost two years later, the series will return for its seventh and final season starting March 31st. The new trailer promises more of the fast-talking, wise-cracking, insult-driven dialogue that made the show a cult favorite. Now, Selina Meyer is back in campaign mode gunning for the presidency, while Jonah Ryan seems to be catering to a more conspiracy-minded crowd.
The political satire stars Emmy and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, the former vice president and president, who is struggling to navigate uncharted political territory. The ensemble cast also includes two-time Emmy winner Tony Hale, Emmy nominee Anna Chlumsky, Emmy nominee Matt Walsh, Reid Scott, Timothy Simons, Kevin Dunn, Emmy nominee Gary Cole and Sam Richardson.
